Calm Rehab is a western owned and operated alcohol and drug treatment centre located on the beautiful island of Bali. The peaceful area of Umalas is one of the most desirable locations on the island with easy access to stunning beaches and a range of recreational activities that are included as part of the treatment programme.
The recovery approach at Calm Rehab is based on the belief that everyone is different and therefore rehab should not be a one-size-fits-all approach. Personalised recovery programmes at Calm employ clinically proven and evidence based techniques to ensure clients leave residential treatment with the necessary tools required for long-term success.
Non-12 Step Residential Treatment Programmes
Clinical and affordable residential treatment programmes are offered to individuals from all over the world who are struggling with addiction problems and psychological issues such as trauma.
The most popular programme at Calm Rehab Bali is the signature Residential Community Programme; an effective, practical and evidence-based programme of addiction recovery set in a naturally beautiful riverside environment.
The non-12 step, results-based programme has been designed to meet international clinical standards with counselling, support and clinical staff on site 7 days a week. Treatment is structured with clients attending 2-3 counsellor-facilitated therapeutic group sessions each day, with a focus on exploring feelings and overcoming personal problems in a non-judgmental environment. A minimum of two one-on-one counselling sessions are also provided each week by a dedicated counsellor.
A variety of mental wellness and physical activities are provided throughout the week as part of the wider treatment programme including yoga, group fitness sessions, therapeutic massage and guided meditation groups.

Residential Treatment Accommodation
Guest accommodation is comfortable with spacious bedroom suites furnished for client comfort. Multiple lounge areas provide an ideal space for community living with a commercial kitchen, client kitchenette, staff office and nursing station.
Activities and Options
Excursions and day trips are provided at weekends giving the chance to enjoy some of the stunning local attractions that make Bali such a famous tourist destination. Outings include visits to picturesque beaches, luxury spa treatments and jungle walks. The more adventurous can enjoy some more challenging activities such as white water rafting or quad biking.
During downtime, clients enjoy access to on-site facilities that include 2 swimming pools, Ping-Pong table, library, fitness suite and tropical gardens. There is also the option to attend recovery meetings in the evenings, or take part in group activities.
Aftercare and Post-treatment Planning
Calm Rehab place a strong emphasis on relapse prevention by identifying potential triggers and assisting clients to develop strategies for coping in difficult situations. Part of this focus is centred around building a strong support network in preparation for arrival home after completing a residential treatment episode.
Dedicated post-treatment planning sessions are provided throughout the duration of the residential programme. Counsellors provide support and assistance with arranging professional support, regular practice of productive activities and community based support networks.

Calm Rehab Bali is led by an internationally qualified clinical team that includes psychologists, counsellors and dedicated group facilitators who are available onsite, with support from a 24-hour medical team and experienced support staff from the UK, Australia and Indonesia.
