Summary

Solace Sabah rehab is located in the scenic island of Borneo, home to the oldest rainforests in Asia as well as the famous Kinabalu Mountain and diving spots. It is Malaysia’s first private addiction treatment retreat. Treatment is available for drug addiction, alcohol addiction, behavioral addictions and associated co-morbid disorders.

Treatment Approach

Solace Sabah employ different methods of treatment, including the ‘Solace Flower Model’. It includes CBT, 12 Step Facilitation, DDT, Assessments, Staged Triggers and Alternate Therapies. Treatment also includes Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Psycho-education for mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders.

Facilities

Air conditioning, dining area, dedicated smoking zones, barbeque area, spa services, fitness center, common refrigerators, multi-cuisine restaurant with buffet style serving.

Accommodation

All rooms come with air conditioning. Daily housekeeping is provided for toilets and rooms. Laundry services for all room types. Single rooms have Jacuzzi (2 Rooms). Hot water and all toiletries are provided.

Activities and Options

AA/NA Meetings are provided both onsite and offsite. Activities include White Water Rafting, Fishing, Island Hopping, Mountain Treks, Shopping, River Cruises, and Wildlife Visitation (Crocodile Park, Orangutan Reserve, Butterfly Sanctuary).

Aftercare Options/Discharge Support

Solace Sabah offer 18 Month Aftercare Treatment plans free of charge for all clients. Aftercare comprises of online meetings, telephone support and clinic visitations. A transitional recovery program and the provision of secondary care treatment (sober living) can also be arranged.
